End-of-Sale and End-of-Life for Cisco AnyConnect Secure Mobility Client Version 4x
Important Notice
Cisco announces the end-of-sale and end-of-life (EOS/EOL) for Cisco AnyConnect Secure Mobility Client Version 4x. Effective June 1, 2023, Cisco will no longer sell AnyConnect Version 4x, and extended support will expire on June 1, 2025. Customers using AnyConnect Version 4x are strongly encouraged to upgrade to a newer version as soon as possible.

- Cisco AnyConnect Secure Mobility Client Version 4.x
- Cisco Umbrella module for Cisco Secure Client on Android (versions prior to v601)
Why is Cisco End-of-Lifing AnyConnect Version 4x?
Cisco is ending support for AnyConnect Version 4x due to several factors, including:
- Limited support for newer operating systems and hardware platforms
- Security vulnerabilities that cannot be patched in Version 4x

How to Upgrade to a Newer Version of AnyConnect
To upgrade to a newer version of AnyConnect, please follow these steps:
- Download the latest version of AnyConnect from the Cisco website.
- Uninstall AnyConnect Version 4x from your computer.
- Install the new version of AnyConnect.
